About the company
A rare opportunity has emerged, and we are actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Category Manager to join our Marketing team at Hettich Australia. By becoming part of one of the world's leading and most successful manufacturers of cabinetry hardware, you will have the invaluable opportunity to make a substantial impact through your work. As a key member of our Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in uniting diverse stakeholders from across the organisation, including sales, supply chain, purchasing, and marketing, to drive the achievement of our business objectives.
Your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage intricate and technical product portfolios, while also being accountable for driving profitable category sales by meeting the evolving needs of our customers and expanding our market share in alignment with our strategic goals.
You'll also be responsible to:
Delivering on sales, profit, and market share targets through proactive management and collaborative partnerships with stakeholders across Hettich Australia.
Executing pricing, promotion, and product range selection strategies for the Australian market within the category.
Establishing and nurturing strong supplier partnerships to ensure the delivery of innovation, availability, and value to our customers.
Take responsibility for product management throughout its lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life, including support in inventory management.
Develop and execute pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market conditions. Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to determine optimal price points for local products.

You'll also need:
A thorough understanding of managing large product categories and delivering a clear customer focused plan
Experience managing international relationships.
Strong financial acumen within a highly B2B environment
You have a degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Highly desirable technical knowledge in building, cabinetry, or hardware products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, category management, or marketing, with a proven track record of driving sales and profitability
